Scripture and Memory Verses

Please read the Scripture portion and memorize the Memory Verse as a family before each session of Family Bible Camp.

Day 1 Scripture Portion:

Mark 1:41 And He was moved with compassion, and stretching out His hand, He touched him and said to him, I am willing; be cleansed!

Mark 6:34 And getting out, He saw a great crowd, and He was moved with compassion for them because they were like sheep not having a shepherd, and He began to teach them many things.

Mark 8:2 I am moved with compassion for the crowd, because for three days now they have remained with Me and they do not have anything to eat.

Memory Verse

Mark 12:31 The second is this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.

Day 2 Scripture Portion:

Mark 10:46-52

46 And they came to Jericho. And as He was going out from Jericho, as well as His disciples and a large crowd, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, sat by the road.

47 And when he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!

48 And many rebuked him so that he would be silent, but he cried out much more, Son of David, have mercy on me!

49 And Jesus, standing still, said, Call him here. And they called the blind man, saying to him, Take courage. Rise. He is calling you.

50 And throwing his garment aside, he leaped up and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus answered him and said, What do you want Me to do for you? And the blind man said to Him, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight!

52 And Jesus said to him, Go; your faith has healed you. And immediately he received his sight and followed Him on the road.

Memory verse:

Mark 10:52 And Jesus said to him, Go; your faith has healed you. And immediately he received his sight and followed Him on the road.

Day 3 Scripture Portion:

Mark 10:13-16

13 And they brought little children to Him so that He might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.

14 But Jesus, seeing it, was indignant and said to them, Allow the little children to come to Me. Do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.

15 Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child shall by no means enter into it.

16 And taking them into His arms, He fervently blessed them, laying His hands on them.

Mark 10:45a For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…

Memory Verses:

Mark 10:14b Allow the little children to come to Me.

Joshua 24:15b But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.
